Text source
Jan Warwick lived in Bergen and had a son there called Sander. Norwegian sources are uncertain of the origin of this family, suggesting that they may either be English or descendants of the Dutchman Cornelius Varig. In any case Sander Jansen Warwick served as a burgess in his hometown of Bergen between 1619 and 1649. His first wife's name is not known, but with her he had a son, Jan Sandersen Warwick who acted as a Burgess for the city between 19/04/1644 and 27/07/1664. With his second wife Ann Clausdatter Ratten, he had Claus Sandersen (1651-1672), Elizabeth and Cornerlock Sandersdatter Warwick (1652-1690)
