James Flech [SSNE 4656] came originally from Orkney and became a burgess of Bergen. His trade was listed as "bordklamper". He married in Bergen, and his wife left a will in 1703. They had a daughter, Kristen Jacobsdatter Flech [SSNE 5239] who married a sailor called Robert Jorgensen. They in turn had two daughters, Malene [SSNE 5240] and Margrethe Robbertsdatter who were born in the 1680s and mentioned in James Flech's wife's will of 1703. Kirsten also had a son called Jacob Robbertsen [SSNE 5286].
