John Udny of Selbie (Selby), near Keith hall, was an Aberdeenshire burgess of Cracow in 1598.
In 1598 John Udny, a Scottish trader, provided a birthbrieve dated Aberdeen 15 June 1594, took the oath, paid 10 Hungarian gold pieces and became a citizen of Cracow. John Mora (SSNE 5143) and Albert Kyn (SSNE 5114) guaranteed that Udny would marry or buy land within a year against the penalty of paying 100 Hungarian gold pieces.
