On 24 October 1579 Hercules Rents from Arbroath obtained proof from the Register of the Acts of the city of Warsaw, dated 17 January 1573, took the oath and paid 2 florins to be admitted citizen of Cracow. He promised to supply a birthbrieve before 24 September 1580 and to acquire land within a year
