In 1651 Gaspar Hunter, patrician of Cracow, summoned James Borkowski, Councillor of Cracow, and Andrew Wasser, merchant and citizen of Cracow, to testify to his legitimacy. They both declared that Hunter was the son of Andrew Hunter and Elizabeth Gordon, both citizens of Cracow. On 3 March 1651 Caspar paid tithe of his estate which realised 30 Imperial thalers for King Charles IIA.F.
