Bartholomew Burnet presented his genealogy to the Council of Cracow on 4 March 1608. He was admitted citizen of Cracow on taking the oath, paying 10 Hungarian gold florins, a gun and half a stone of gunpowder. Albert Kin (SSNE 5114) and John Thorbes (probably SSNE 5096), both Scottish burgesses of Cracow supported Burnet's claims and provided surety that within the year he would either marry or acquire land under penalty of losing the rights he had just gainedA.F.
