In 1596 Andrew Angus from Aberdeen presented a birthbrieve from Aberdeen dated 8 July 1596, took the oath and paid 5 florins to be admitted citizen of Cracow. Peter Paul Bajer give the year of admission as 1597, and notes that Andrew Angus came from Balgove, near Tarves in Aberdeenshire.
