HOME, ALEXANDER [SSNE 4976]
Text source
According to Balfour Paul's Peerage, Alexander Hume of Hyndlawhill was served heir to his father on 24 September 1663. David Dobson notes an Alexander Home of Manderston serving as a captain in a regiment of foot in Dutch service in 1702. More research required to establish if they were the same man.
