Magnus Williamson was a corporal in the liferegiment cavalry. In 1711 he was a second cornet, and advanced to a first cornet the following year. He was a lieutenant in the Uppland 'tremanning' cavalry regiment. In 1713 he was a regimental quartermaster, and a master of horse the following year. In 1718 he was in prison for thee weeks. In 1735 he was reinstated by the royal council in the king's absence. He was married to the daughter of a Swedish army soldier.Svenska Adelns Attartavlor, vol 8; H.
