In November 1692 the king of Denmark wrote to the magistrates about the privateer Robert Dunbar, captain of De Fux. Enclosed in the letter was a note to Mr Greg in Bergen. This was probably Walter Grieg who came from Aberdeen and became a burgess skipper in Bergen on 6 March 1704.
