Robert Hume was a lieutenant in colonel Donald Mackay's [SSNE 93] regiment in Danish-Norwegian service from 15/3/1626. He received his reckoning by 4/10/1628, and was reformed in 1629. Like many other Scots in Danish service, he then transferred to Sweden with the regiment, where he was appointed captain by 1634T.
