Alexander Vilimove Shairp was an officer in the Russian army noted as of Scottish origin. He took part in the 2nd Chigirin campaign in 1678. He also fought in the Crimea, and Azov, and became major general during the Great Northern War. He was presumably related to Andrey Shairp[SSNE 4064]D.
