In 1665 a Scot named Kennedy came to Moscow with Dr.Wilson, and possibly was a physician himself. On the way back he was given letters by Scots officers in the Tsar's employ, but lost them in a "fitt of frensy" at RigaD. Fedosov, The Caledonian Connection (Aberdeen, 1996);(Patrick Gordon, Diary).
