URQUHART, TOMAS [SSNE 3721]
Text source
Thomas Urquhart was the son of Johan Urquhart [SSNE 3718] and Isabella Kinnemond [SSNE 3317] and served as a reformed ensign with the Lifgard in 1646. He was later with the Drottning's lifregiment in 1647 at the same rank. He was presumably related to John [SSNE 3719] and Magnus [SSNE 3720]. He was last recorded as an ensign with M. G. de la Gardie's infantry regiment in 1655. He appears to have left the army to go to Uppsala University, although it is possible that the Uppsala student is another individual of the same name.
