David Falconer was in Danish-Norwegian service. He then became a major at Gluckstadt in 1627. Thereafter Falconer was in Swedish service as a major of the Swedish Yellow Regiment garrisoned in Regensburg. This was besieged in 1634 by Imperial and Bavarian troops.
