Christopher Seaton entered Swedish service as a page in 1638 and served at the Court of Queen Christina until 1643. He became an ensign with Col Bengt Ribbing's Alfsborg regiment on 9 January 1644. He became lieutenant-captain in 1650, captain (on 4 August) 1654 and major in 1659.
