Robert Richardson served as a captain under Henrik Fleming, later Swedish Admiral and Lord Marshal, in 1623. Perhaps Robert can be identified with a soldier of that name who had already served in Finland (then part of Sweden) by 1620.

 

A man named Robert Richardson signed an autograph album belonging to Magdalene Bonde, daughter of a Swedish nobleman and courtier from Vastergotland. The album later belonged to Karin Ulfsparre. Richardson and his wife Karin Svensdotter both signed the book in Swedish.
