A captain John Henderson is listed in the Swedish muster-rolls for 1628-1629. He served in James Ramsay's [SSNE 3315] service during those years. It is probably the same man who later acted as the Governor of Gothenburg and served as a member of the Riddarhus. He had a brother Carl who, in 1645, sought to gain his brother's seat in the Riddarhus
