Jacob Duwall was the son of Jacob, grandson of Jacob, and great-grandson of Albrekt Duwall and therefore must be considered a Swede. The Uppsala matrikel entry is bracketed with 3 brothers/kinsmen matriculating together, Jacob, Laurence and Gustav. next to the record is written "Duwall, Jacobi fil., 1677". Duwall served as a fanrik in the Lifeguards until 1689. He was a captain by 1700 but died in 1702.Abo Akademis Student Matrikel, 1889-91.
