Text source
Robert Douglas served first in William Lawson's [SSNE 2899] squadron, then became a captain in James Ramsay's[SSNE 3315] regiment. His company in 1631 included the likes of lieutenant Thomas Bamborough and sergeants Marmaduke Walter and Robert Medlicop - indicating that he perhaps had English or Irish recruits serving with him. Douglas died in 1631. Confer [SSNE 6690].
