BLAIR, JAMES [SSNE 1818]
Text source
James Blair served first as a reformed ensign with George Cunningham's [SSNE 2118]regiment in 1632. Since he appeared to get no permenant position there, he is probably the same man listed as a reformed ensign in Robert Cunningham's [SSNE 2132] regiment from 1632-1635. A James Blair was married to Chatarina Oeslbeim and letters from both husband and wife show that Lieutenant Blair was still alive in the 1640s.
