Peter Learmonth was an ensign in Swedish service in 1603-4. Two muster-rolls for his company survive from 1607. It was perhaps this P Lermonth who was an officer in James Spens' [SSNE 1642] regiment in 1610. He may or may not be the same individual who later served in Poland [SSNE 5222].
