Born at Montrose, Married by 1625 Beritte Andersdatter, widow of Albert Albertson Ritchie, whose epitaph (together with their own) they had made and set up in the church of Nykobing 1625; a chandelier of the same church with their three names is also dated 1625. Paid excise on malt, winter 1626-7, exported wheat from Nysted 1629-30. Byfoged and customs officer of Nykobing; councillor, represented the town at the acclamation of Frederik III July 1648.
