T. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.261. (Kanc. Brevb. 8/4/1585). Burgess by 8/4/1585, had for about three years frequently sojournned at Ystad. Complained about a verdict for assault pronounced against him by byfoged and council of Ystad. The byfoged explained to the king that W.S. during his sojourns at Ystad created trouble, violated the trade regulations and had a sentence for debt pronounced against him.
