Felix O'Neil was listed as an Irishman who had spent 6 months in jail due to differences with King William, who had then been sent to the Emperor. He was persuaded to join Danish military service with 100 men. They were put in the Queen's liferegiment. He convinced 300 more to join. In 1689 he was put into Prince Frederik's regiment as a reformed lieutenant. He seems never to have been enrolled, registered or paid for his 8 months' service. In 1690 he sought a position and recompense for his serviceJ.C.W. Hirsch and K.
