Henry Watson was born in Pittenweem, and admitted a burgess of Elsinore on 8/8/1695. He married in Courland (his wife's name not given). He served as a Mate, though was 'absent' in the winter of 1699-1700. Nonetheless, he paid taxes "3rd fjerding" for himself, his wife, and a child of 10. This was Anne Marie Watson, 1723-99, who married a certain Hansen,gunmaker.T. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.251.
