Eric Tait attended Uppsala university in 1683. He was probably the son of Eric Teet [SSNE 460] who was governor of Medelpad. A man of the same name went on in 1685 to found Logdo Bruk in Medelpad along with Isaak Mackay and other partners. In 1686, with another group of partners he also founded Avike Bruk and ran both until his death in 1694.
