John Innes is listed as a Scottish burgess, "well-famed citizen and merchant", in Posen in 1687. James Watson [SSNE 1103?] and Thomas Reid [SSNE 7041] both served as guarantors for him. King John III of Poland appointed him as the guardian of Zacharias Wildigan's estate on 11 October. Apparently Wildigan had become infirm of mind and bodyA.F.
