Studied at German universities 1586-91, but according to AM 361 in folio, fol.143r. He matriculated at the school of Soro in 1587. Paid taxes 1592-7, burgess 24/6/1596 (his father guarantor); councillor 31/10/1597, warden of the Hospital 14/8/1607, dead by 12/12/1609. Married first Dorethe Thorsmeden, died 25/4/1601; children Anneken who 28/11/1610 inherited 3,611 rixdollars from her parents and Hans Hansen. Married aftyer, Elsebe Knoppersdatter, three children.
