Third party cookies are used to provide access to some of our systems that are part of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) such as Moodle and Canvas.
How we use third party cookies
Third party cookies allow sign-in details to be shared across different websites by storing and transmitting authentication information, enabling seamless login experiences.
Some examples of third party cookie usage at the University include:
- Accessing lecture recordings in Panopto via Moodle.
- Accessing reading lists in Talis Aspire via Moodle.
If you experience an issue
Follow these steps:
- Enable third party cookies in your preferred web browser - search online for instructions for your particular browser.
- Clear your browser cache.
- Restart your web browser.
