Learn where to find free products and tests at the University.

In Scotland, period products are free to anyone who needs them.

They can be found at various places around the university:

  • Main Library (top-floor toilets)
  • Student Services – Eden Court (ground-floor toilets)
  • Student Services – The Advice and Support Centre (main reception)
  • Sports Centre (changing room)
  • Students' Union (toilets)
  • Any hall of residence

The Students’ Union also offers free reusable period products. They can be collected from the Director of Wellbeing, on the middle floor of the Union.

Any student can also collect free pregnancy tests through the Union. You can ask the Director of Wellbeing or Student Advocate Iain Cupples for one.
