The email will tell you how to access your appointment or change it if you need to.
If you have an appointment with the Disability team, the first session will be different.
Your information
Your first appointment with Student Services is a consultation session where your adviser will gather information and an understanding of your situation and will collaboratively work with you to identify some helpful next steps. Information will include:

- what you expect from your appointment and the support services
- questions to assess any risks
- your background details.
Support options
After providing your details, you will decide with your adviser what support options will be best for you. These may include:
- Wellbeing chat
- Life coaching
- Mental health session
- Group or workshop support
- SilverCloud (online cognitive behavioural therapy)
- Self-help resources
- Referrals to other areas of Student Services like disability, money advice, or international advice
- Referrals to local specialist support
Your adviser will explain next steps, help you access the agreed support and let you know if there will be a wait time for your next appointment.
