Understand what changes and circumstances should be discussed with your School, and how to contact your School

You should contact your School first when you want to:

  • inform them that you can’t attend a class or exam (you’ll also need to submit a self-certificate)
  • change your mode of attendance (from part-time to full-time or full-time to part-time)
  • change your location of study
  • withdraw from your course
  • change modules
  • change your year of entry
  • ask for a deferred assessment
  • ask for a coursework deadline extension
  • appeal a grade
  • get help with study skills, mathematics, or language correction.

Your School will advise you what to do next. They may ask for more details or invite you to attend a meeting.
