Updated on: 10 August 2023
Understand what changes and circumstances should be discussed with your School, and how to contact your School
You should contact your School first when you want to:
- inform them that you can’t attend a class or exam (you’ll also need to submit a self-certificate)
- change your mode of attendance (from part-time to full-time or full-time to part-time)
- change your location of study
- withdraw from your course
- change modules
- change your year of entry
- ask for a deferred assessment
- ask for a coursework deadline extension
- appeal a grade
- get help with study skills, mathematics, or language correction.
Your School will advise you what to do next. They may ask for more details or invite you to attend a meeting.
