Creating collaborative infrastructures for interdisciplinarity: International insights

24 June 2024

The GSIS was delighted to welcome Dr Katrine Lindvig, from the University of Copenhagen, to the University of St Andrews from 17-20 June 2024. On 18 June, Dr Lindvig presented a seminar on her latest research on ‘Creating Collaborative Infrastructures for Interdisciplinary Higher Education: Potentials, Possibilities, and Pitfalls’ as part of the GSIS Interdisciplinary Encounters series, followed by a lunch with colleagues from various schools across the university.  In the afternoon, the GSIS organised a roundtable on interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity where we were also joined by Dr Marisa Mamede from SinBiose, the Synthesis Center on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services of the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development and Dr Laura Meagher, Senior Partner of the Technology Development Group.
