St Leonard’s Postgraduate College announces postgraduate travel awards for 2023-2024

St Leonard’s Postgraduate College is delighted to unveil the continuation of the Postgraduate Travel Awards scheme for the academic year 2023-2024. This initiative aims to support postgraduate students in enhancing their research and development through valuable travel experiences.

Eligibility and application process

The awards are open to all postgraduate students matriculated at the University of St Andrews pursuing any postgraduate degree. Whether for research conferences, fieldwork, or other academic pursuits, these awards cover travel expenses, accommodation, and subsistence for trips until July 2024. Retrospective applications for travel already undertaken will be accepted until the final deadline.

Application deadline

For the first round of applications for travel in the academic year 2023-2024, the deadline is set for Thursday 7 December 2023. Applicants can anticipate a maximum award value of £300, with the actual amount depending on the number of successful applications.

Future opportunities

Planning ahead? A second round of awards is expected in Semester 2. It’s important to note that students are eligible to receive the award once per academic year.
