St Andrews staff and students host the United Nations
Professor William Austin and SGSD students, together with Professor Ali Watson (School of International Relations), welcomed Ovais Sarmad to St Andrews at the weekend.
Ovais Sarmad is the Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Climate Change secretariat (UNFCCC), based in Bonn Germany and he spent time discussing the work of the UNFCCC and the opportunities for stronger links between the University of St Andrews and the UNFCCC.
