Award-winning research

The Routledge Companion to Asian Cinemas (2024) edited by Zhen Zhang, Sangjoon Lee, Debashree Mukherjee, Intan Paramaditha, which includes a chapter by Dr Philippa Lovatt, has just won the NETPAC 1st Aruna Vasudev Award for best book on Asian cinema. Dr Lovatt's chapter is entitled 'The Vernacular Sonorities of the Memory Film in Southeast Asia'.
