Collaboration with Save Myanmar Film and Thai Film Archive

Thanks to a Connections Through Culture grant from the British Council for the project 'Safeguarding and Managing audio-visual heritage in a time of environmental crisis' a paper materials restoration workshop on Burmese cinema heritage, led by the Thai Film Archive and co-organised by Save Myanmar Film and Philippa Lovatt, took place on 8-9th August in Yangon, Myanmar.

An online roundtable on the same theme took place on 4 September with invited speakers: Sanchai Chotirosseranee, Dr Julio Gonzalez, Okkar Maung, Dr Emily Munro, Dr Juana Suarez and Dr María A. Vélez-Serna.
