The Oxford Handbook of Restoration Literature

The School is pleased to announce the publication of the Oxford Handbook of Restoration Literature, edited by Matthew Augustine with frequent collaborator Steven Zwicker (Washington University, St Louis).

Comprising some 40 chapters by world-leading experts in the field, this book explores and contests, challenges and reimagines the experience embodied by the writing of the late Stuart world. 

A virtual launch for the Restoration Handbook will be held on Monday 3 March 2025, from 4.15pm to 5.30 pm UK time, on Microsoft Teams.
