Microeconomics reading group
The microeconomics reading group is an informal series of meetings during which the group discusses material that is too specialised or preliminary than is suitable for a brown bag. Sometimes the group invites external speakers. The reading group complement other series in the School, but is not intended as a substitute for other research series.
Meetings are currently held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm, unless stated otherwise.
Presentations last no longer than 1.5 hours and are usually organised as a whiteboard presentation, as this gives the opportunity to go through results in more depth. However, if you want to present an empirical paper, you will not be forced to draw your STATA output by hand.
