Dr Abu Baidya awarded prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship

Congratulations to Dr Abu Saeed Baidya who has been awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. In his project entitled Hydrothermal vents and the supply of nutrient metals for the origin and early evolution of Life. Abu will begin working on the project in September 2023. 

Abu will be investigating how early Earth and modern-day Enceladus hydrothermal vents might have provided/may provide transition metals for the origin of life. He will combine novel experimental methods followed by thermodynamic and mass balance modelling approaches to achieve the goals.
