The School welcome Sarah Lane Ritchie and Kevin Nordby to the Theology and Science programme, led by Dr John Perry.
Dr Madhavi Nevader has been appointed as a lecturer in Hebrew Bible, joining the faculty on a permanent basis following time as a teaching fellow. The School welcomes her to this new role.
The School has received £1.75 million to explore a new generation of questions at the intersection of theology and science. The grant creates two new positions at St Andrews, and ten others for early-career scholars.
A service of remembrance and thanksgiving was held on Saturday 27 August 2016 for our friend and colleague, John Webster, Professor of Divinity, who passed away suddenly on 25 May 2016.
The School is hosting a one-day colloquium on the Doctrine of God in conversation with Paul Fiddes on Saturday, 16 April 2016, at the School of Divinity in St Andrews.
