It is the second time in two years that Scotland's oldest university has come ahead of its Oxbridge rivals to top a leading university league table. The Guardian has now coined the term "Stoxbridge" to describe what it says may be the new world order in UK university rankings.

The death of Her Majesty The Queen
The Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Sally Mapstone FRSE sent an email to all staff and students following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty The Queen on Thursday 8 September 2022. The University of St Andrews Community Fund has recently supported East Fife and Scooniehill Riding for the Disabled (RDA), which works with local primary schools, adult day centres and individuals to share the benefits of riding therapy.
