St Andrews Forest plants new energy future St Andrews graduates the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to their alma mater to plant the first and only tree in St Salvator’s Quadrangle. This marked the launch of the St Andrews Forest – a key part of the University’s ambitious plans to become carbon net zero by 2035.
Calling the classes of 1991 and 1996 Are you in one of these classes? If so we are running a new pilot programme where we have digitalised the original VHS tapes from ceremonies 25 and 30 years ago and partnered with a company to edit them into unique 50-second clips for each graduate. If you graduated in one of these years, look out for your clip arriving via email. Feel free to share it on social media. We hope to roll out this service to other graduation anniversaries in the future.
Unfortunately, we only have valid email addresses for around a third of these year groups, but we have already made personal video clips for every one of them, so if you know any St Andrews friends not receiving our emails, please let them know they will need to update their details with us and give us their permission.
Thanks to Michael Cunningham for letting us use his clip as an example.
