Meet the Author
Join Dr Eric Motley on Thursday 29 October when he will discuss and read extracts from his book Madison Park: A Place of Hope (Zondervan, 2017) and describe his journey from the small Alabama community of Madison Park to Special Assistant to President George W Bush.
In this special event of the series we will be joined by the Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Sally Mapstone who will introduce the author, and by the Vice-Principal (International Strategy and External Relations) Professor Brad MacKay who will moderate the discussion.
Please either submit your question(s) by Tuesday 27 October to alumni@st-andrews.ac.uk or during the event using the chat function.

This year the Class Gift Committee has decided to raise money to help the Student Support Fund. Please support them if you can or sign up as a follower/helper and look out for the great ideas they’ve got coming up this year.

Send a message of congratulations, words of advice or an inspirational quote, together with your name, subject and year of graduation by Friday 20 November.
Your messages will then be collated and shared online on the days on which the degree conferrals take place.
Winter meeting of the General Council: Saturday 28 November 2020
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it will unfortunately not be possible to hold this winter’s General Council meeting in person. However, plans are being made to provide members with a video update. Further details will be provided in the Billet for the meeting, which will be issued to all members in due course.
University of St Andrews online Christmas service
SAVE THE DATE for our online Christmas service on Sunday 13 December at 7pm. The Service will be live streamed from St Salvator’s Chapel and all staff, students, alumni, parents and other friends of the University are invited to join in. Find out more in next month’s edition!
