Who can go

Students on degree programmes in the following subject areas may apply to study abroad during their Junior Honours year at Lunds Universitet (Lund University):

Note: Joint Honours students may only apply for a full year abroad if BOTH subjects are listed above. Joint Honours students applying for one semester must seek permission from both Schools.

Places available may vary from year to year depending on the exchange balance. Numbers for the following academic year will be confirmed at the information meeting.

Getting there and getting around

The closest international airport to Lund is Copenhagen Airport (also known as "Kastrup"), in Denmark. The journey time by train from the airport to Lund is about 35 minutes. The journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden and via Malmö central station where you may need to change trains.

Train tickets can be purchased from the Skånetrafiken ticket machines in the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport, near the escalators going down to the train platform. You can pay using a debit/credit card, and if you buy a ticket all the way to Lund, the ticket will be valid even if you need to change trains at Malmö central station.

Accommodation

To find somewhere to live in Lund, Malmö or Helsingborg, most international students apply through LU Accommodation. (a part of Student Services at Lund University). However, LU Accommodation will not be able to offer housing to all international students and therefore we strongly recommend that you also apply through other accommodation agencies.
