Russian Language Undergraduate Studies Ltd

Overview

At a glance

Students wishing to study in the Russian-speaking world as part of their degree can do so through the Russian Language Undergraduate Studies (RLUS) programme. RLUS arranges language courses for students of Russian at British universities during their year abroad. The courses last from 3 to 9 months. RLUS provides a choice of courses in Tallinn, Estonia and Astana, Kazakhstan..

History : Incorporated in 1993, Russian Language Undergraduate Studies Limited is a small UK charity (Charity Number: 1028482), used by many UK univerisities and colleges to support students wishing to go on placements in the Russian-speaking world. Prior to the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, it facilitated placements for students of Russian at a private, foreign-owned language school (Language Link) and leading public universities in the Russian Federation. RLUS now works with Language Link centres in Tallinn, Estonia and Astana, Kazakhstan to provide students with tuition in Russian language and exposure to the Russian-speaking world.
