History : Emory was founded in 1836 as a small Methodist college in Georgia, in a town named Oxford after the prestigious English university. Emory was transformed into its present incarnation in the historic Druid Hills neighbourhood of Atlanta in 1915 after Asa Candler, founder of The Coca-Cola Company, donated land and funds for a new campus.

Who can go

Students on degree programmes in the following subject areas may apply to study abroad during their Junior Honours year at Emory University:
School of Psychology and Neuroscience requirements: please note that this exchange is only open to BSc Neuroscience and BSc single honours Psychology students.

Places available : 4 semester places (or two full year places) will be available at Emory University in the academic year 2025-2026.

Places available may vary from year to year depending on the exchange balance. Numbers for the following academic year will be confirmed at the information meeting.

Getting there and getting around

The closest airport is Atlanta Airport where you can travel to Emory via taxi, pre-booked shuttle or a train and bus service.
