Constraints programming

The Constraint Programming Research Group is dedicated to advancing the field of constraint programming, a powerful paradigm for solving complex combinatorial problems with a wide range of practical applications, from scheduling and planning to vehicle routing and experimental design. We develop innovative algorithms and tools that automate both modelling and solving these complex problems so as to provide scalable solutions for real-world challenges. Our interdisciplinary approach brings together researchers in computer science, mathematics, and application domains such as chemistry to push the boundaries of what is possible with constraint-based methods.
