Booking your wedding
To reserve your preferred date and time at one of the University Chapels, St Salvator’s or St Leonard’s, please follow these steps:

Review the Chapel availability webpage before emailing the University Chaplaincy to make a booking inquiry.
- We recommend having a provisional booking in place at least 12 weeks before your intended wedding date. This aligns with the time frame required to submit your Marriage Notice (Form M10) to the Registrar. Further information on the legal process can be found in 'Guidance on Marriage Notice and Registration Procedures' section of the Wedding Guidelines.
- Only individuals who fall into specific eligibility categories are permitted to marry in the University chapels. Refer to the 'Eligibility section' of the Wedding Guidelines.

Once your preferred date, time and venue are agreed your booking will be held provisionally, without payment, for four weeks.

Securing Your Wedding Booking:
- Submit a non-refundable deposit of £200 via the University Online Shop. Additional details on the Wedding Payment Policy can be found in the Wedding Guidelines.
- Complete the Wedding Booking Form (Word) and email to the Chaplaincy.
- After completing both steps, expect to receive a confirmation letter within three weeks.
